Basic Strategy app for iPhone and iPad

Did you know that blackjack has one of the best odds at winnings? Did you know that the optimal blackjack strategy has been statistically determined? Did you know that playing Basic Strategy will lower the house’s edge to less than one percent.

Basic Strategy was created by using a computer simulation of millions of blackjack hands. The chart is laid out showing the dealer’s up card across the top of the chart and the player’s hand along the side. The intersection of the two will say what is the player’s best play: Hit, Double, Stand, or SPlit.

The chart is presented in 3 sections, Soft hands (ones with an Ace), Pairs (repeated card value), and Hard hands (all other cases). This third case will occur the majority of the time, so it is best to study it first. Practice by trying to get 100% with 10 hands, then move up to 20, 50 and so on. Consistency is key!
